Stoeger Coach or Uplander?
Hello All,
Trying to decide between coach or uplander. I'm looking for something that can eventually be used for cowboy action if I ever get the gumption to get into that. Until then, it will be used for skeet/clays/etc. Not sure if coach gun would be good for the skeet and not sure if the uplander would be good for cowboy action. What say y'all? Thanks |

The uplander will be fine for CAS. You don't need a coach gun for it.

Uplander if you want to shoot skeet with it.

The Uplander is a pretty decent shotgun for the money.

The Uplander is more refined, has a longer barrel and rubber butt pad. The coach gun is shorter and solid butt pad, more of a plain Jane model. I choose the coach gun as I felt it has more period correct, plus I preferred the shorter barrel.
