Broken Adj. Sight, Need Help!
Ok, so I dropped my gun. Thats bad enough but whats worse is that it fell on the rear adjustable sight and it broke (scroll down for pics). I tried J-B Weld but that didnt work so I took it to my local gunsmith. He tells me he has never seen this particular sight before and has no clue who the manufacturer is.
I bought this gun used and its history is unknown. What we do know is that the sight was welded to the the slide then the whole package was refinished. Which means that if I cant find a replacement for the broken piece then the old one will have to be cut off, a new one installed and the slide refinished... I cant afford all that right now and this gun is my favorite shooter So before I start visiting every gunsmith in town can anyone tell me if they recognize these sights, and if so, where I might be able to locate a replacement? Thanks in advance Roger

The sight looks like an LPA SPR
Brownells lists them for several guns. I don't guess it would matter which, you would be robbing the elevation leaf off to go on your welded base anyhow. http://www.brownells.com/aspx/NS/sto...102144&s=23028 Or PSI http://www.precisionsights.com/Produ...duct_page.html |

Thanks a ton Jim, but somebody on another board beat you to it by about 15 minutes. I have already emailed PSI about acquiring a replacement.
Good to know there are some really nice, helpful people out there. A big Thank You to everyone who responded

By the way, if you know a good TIG welder, that could be welded, cleaned up, and re-installed. I said a GOOD TIG welder.
