I use Remington's alot - mostly in bulk packages since they are excellent quality and the price is usually right. I have been loading the Remington "corelokts" for both target shooting and hunting. I've had excellent knock down, penetration, and expansion in the deer I've shot with the bullet. Last night I loaded some speer game kings (boat tailed) and can't wait to see how much difference they make from the non boattails in my Browning Abolt in a 30.06. What caliber are you using, and what are you using them for?

Bill, I'm using them for .223 for squirrels. I hope they are good. I love the KKKWWWAAAAK! that a good bullet give off when It hits them.

Scratch,

I shoot a lot of Remington bullets in my 7-08 and my 7.62Nato rifles. They are cheap, reasonably accurate and available in bulk from Midway. Now in Pistols, I shoot Remington's almost exclusively for plinking and trigger time shooting. I now only use Seirra's for hunting and target work. Very good reasonable bullets

Scratch. Rest assured Remington 223's will "work" on squirrels. I hope you don't expect to have much meat left for gumbo... Now if you're "reaching out to more than 50 yards, you might want a more expensive boat tail, or specialized bullet made for varmet hunting. Good luck.

I used to shoot the 50 gr. Power-Lokt bullets quite a bit. They shot well, good terminal ballistics, etc. Come to think of it, maybe I will try some in a .223 that I have been working on.......

Scratch, I've hunted with Remington 240 Gr SJHP's in my handloads for the 44 Magnum on Whitetails in the past. Never a complaint with them. Terrific boiler room damage and complete penetration with good accuracy.
