.303 Enfield
Aho All
I am looking for and wondering if you can get a barrel for a #4 Enfield in .308? I have the .303 now and it is okay but the barrel is getting a bit worn so I would like to replace it with a .308 one. Can it be done and what all would I have to do to do it? Please help I am just starting to do my own work so I need all I can get.

While the British made later versions of the No.4 action for .308, it is not recommended to convert a .303 to .308. Different leagues as for as pressure is concerned.
All British bolt pieces, especially the bolt head, that are proofed for .308 have special proof marking.
