How true are factory Rem 700 receivers from mid-late 80's?
I have an '84 model .308 PSS that shoots like a laser. Were the receivers back then more 'true'? Did they ever need to be blueprinted? Just curious.

The Rem 700 receivers back in the 1980s were good, no better or worse than the ones made today. They got a little better with blueprinting.
