Georgia Firearms Law Proposed Changes

Well, be aware if you live in Georgia your freedom is at risk – the legislature is in session. That being said there is one bill being proposed that would actually restore some freedoms related to firearms.

HB 981 was submitted and it addresses several issues below is a summary. I have also provided a link to a more detailed article on Georgia Carry’s WEB site which includes a link to the actual bill. Give it a review and if you like it call and make your opinion known.

The bill would relax carry restrictions, eliminate finger printing for renewals, modify the emergency powers act to prevent the seizure of guns during emergencies, requires guns legally seized to be sold instead of destroyed, legalizes hunting with suppressors and other items.
