How is AZ on guns?

I live in Alaska and have a house in Maine. I bring my rifles back and forth regularily as I love shooting. Wondering if I can hear from Arizonans on what it's like owning firearms there?

My parents are looking at a house there and I love long range shooting. In reading the laws online AZ seems pretty open. I know nothing about the state other then one of my favorite stores, J&G is there. If this is in the wrong forum I apologize.

Here in AZ you can go to a swamp meet and buy long guns or handguns.
Just pay and walk on. I have seen many open carry and know of many CCW.
I love it here as far as guns go, just the heat sucks.

Brady gave them 0 points on their last report card. One of only a few states to do that well.

Arizona is gun-lovers paradise! Lots of wide open spaces to shoot, no permit required to carry concealed or openly, and you'll see many who do carry open. Full auto OK.

Temperature right now beats the heck out of Alaska!!!

Hey Revvy, Az gun laws are pretty much like ours.
And Alaska Airlines flies there and are familiar with
people flying with their guns. Don't melt down there !
