Pistol Stand From Scrap

Wife just finished making a pistol loading stand for a friend of ours. All she had
was just a couple of scrap boards and no tools. It is suprising what can be done sometimes. It's not pretty, but it will do what it's supposed to.

My loading stand is way uglier than that, made out of plywood and screws.

Also, on my TC Patriot pistol, with great superhuman effort, I successfully resisted the temptation to polish the brass to a bright luster.

I love to see these things....

....that flow from materials that just happen to be at hand.

I think it lends an air of authenticity becuase I believe that is what our forefathers would have done.
