Explosion at MDM
http://www.foxnews.com/us/2010/05/14...nh-explosions/
I believe they also make a black powder substitute there. Cross your fingers and say a prayer. EDIT: Looks like Fox kind of gutted the story. Here's the local news report: http://www.unionleader.com/article.a...d-d6a064c840c8 As mentioned down below, two dead and a third injured. At least one family is out of their home and in a shelter. It's a tragedy for a small town and one that touches all of us.

May their two deceased employees RIP. I don't have the cajones to work in a black powder mill.

Even the pros die.
Wow, two deceased employees. Oof! May they rest in peace.
Me and a buddy, (the buddy already has various smoke poles), ... just ordered a really nice mortar and pestle from the science supply store and cut a BUNCH of 1/2" to 1" willow branches from several different trees. We are going to husband them to produce new growth quickly and harvest these premium sized branches. So this I've got to research and print off for him to read. He's super safe and we just want to make small amounts. If the big boys can go boom with all their experience ... it makes you think real, real hard about doing any of it at any level. |
