Thinking this might be the CCW for me... can't find a local seller, so i was hoping they're would be a few owners who carry and/ or shoot one on a regular basis?

I'm looking at both the 9mm and .45 options... So give me all the info you can! Thank ya'.

A member had my club had one yesterday. It was chambered in 9mm and it was easy to shoot. I wasn't a fan of the channel sights, but it seemed like a nice carry pistol.

Have you shot a 45 in that small a package? I didn't like my Colt Officer's model.

I' m not against the Defender. I just believe in try before you buy.

I have a Sig Ultra in .45- same size as the New Agent. I've seen the Defender and New Agent. While I like shooting the Ultra, I'm really not a fan of the channel sights on the New Agent. I just don't think they're any better for rapid target acquisition and they sure look worse for target shooting, and all at a higher price than I paid for my Ultra.

Gotta say, I'm sure the gun shoots nicely, I just prefer actual sights of some kind.

I had a New Agent and Colt Defender . I could never get use the the gutter sight . Always shot low for me . I traded for a AR -15 about 3 mo ago. Iam glad I did. I would look at Defender Toss the ugly rubber grips and put on some nice wood .
I carry with 185gr Corbon DPX . Recoil isn't a problem .

I bought a new agent in 45 awhile back. Takes a bit of getting used to on them trench sites. Going from a full size to this and back makes for misses on paper till the technique comes back on the new agent. Is small tho and easy to carry.
