have 2 barrels for S&W model 41 -NEED complete rest of pistol -any Suggestions?

I bought this great gun when I was a kid - I'm an old goat and retired now
- many yrs ago theives stole my 41 pistol
- only have the extra 2 barrels and 2 clips left now
- 1 long barrel for shorts
- and 1 short barrel for longs
;-)

can anyone steer me to someone who can sell me the lower 1/2 of the gun

or sell my parts ?

how rare is the one long barrel for shorts ?

ps - also have a 22 cal rifle to trade or for sale - thanks

I know of no source for only the bottom half of a M41.

All I can suggest is that you buy a gun and install whichever barrel you prefer to shoot. You can sell the others or swap them around as the mood strikes you.

The .22 Short barrel and magazine are uncommon and worth a good bit.

If the "short barrel for longs" is a 5", it too is discontinued and likely has a good resale value. If it is the 5.5" heavy barrel, it is pretty well the standard now.

MUST SELL/trade 2 barrell + 2 clips SW41 - or buy bottom of pistol -swap for 22cal?

thanks for your nice reply - I am new here and trying to figure this all out - but the staff was nice enough to make things right for me to share my story

WHAT DO YOU FEEL A FAIR TRADE VALUE would be for my 4 items ? - or sold separately...

I figured that the LONG barrell for "shorts" would be a rare one ...

but you feel the short barrell for LONGS is the rarer one now ?

values please $___________ ???

all the barrells are OLDER ... I bouhg them when I was younger and I'm retired now... maybe bought in the late 60's / early 70's ? I have the numbers

wellcome your repy at pls10 at hotmail dot com - thanks ;-)

No, I think the Short Shooter outfit is the prize.

You show the 5.5" heavy barrel for LR, which is pretty much the standard these days. A new one is $232.25 retail from S&W. But one like yours with the same sight as M52 sold for $300 on the S&W board.

On the other hand, you have not only the 7.375" Short barrel and magazine but also the matching lightweight slide and muzzle brake.
A similar outfit was $1000 on the S&W board.

That would be the place to discuss and sell your stuff.

For discussion go to the S&W auto pistols forum on that board.
To advertise barrels for sale go to the classified section. Barrels normally listed under accessories. Read the rules for advertisements.
