Greek ball ammo ??
OK--picked up a bunch of this stuff the other day in 30.06. Boxes are marked "Ball Caliber .30 M2
Lot - 1107-HXP-68 Greek Powder and Cartridge My question is--is it Burden or boxer primed, and corrosive, or not. Thanks

HXP - Greek is very good milsurp ammunition suitable for Garands and the like -- on par w/ Lake City for accuracy. (Sometimes even better)
It does use a powder that leaves more residue than most, but if you're not into a few extra wet patches at start of cleaning you shouldn't be shooting anyway. It leaves you excellent brass for reloading purposes, and `68 was a very good year. |

I have a Sinclair concentricity gauge, and I have been measuring factory ammo and my handloads.
The most concentric ammo I have ever measured is Boxer primed Greek 303 surplus military ammo. My 6mmBR handloads are second only to the Greek ammo. |

I believe AMA is Danish. Good stuff. Berdan primed and non-corrosive.
