Flu is Past Tense
Very good article for individual preperation. I am in a Homeland Security Class where we are Studying the National Response Plan. The two events we are researching for our simulation /excercise are Bird Flu and a terrorist attack at a major event or in a major city. My hat is off to Mr. Hood for this article.
I am a new subscriber, has there been an article in this series about a radioactive dirty bomb? I would be most interested in what Mr. Hood has to say.

Eghad-
Thanks for taking the time to post feedback here. We appreciate it. As you might have surmised, our Against All Odds column is not going to be the predictable “stockpile ammo and guns” type of “survival” column. We covered preparing for a nuclear disaster/dirty bomb in the September 2003 issue (back issues available at the S.W.A.T. website, www.swatmag.com), but plan on broaching the subject again in the future. Denny

Is it okay to use some of these articles for classes at an accredited educational institution for non profit educational purposes?

If you're going to bring in a copy of the mag and discuss it or quote from it with credit, no problem. If you're going to do reprints you'd need to email me in order to stay within copyright law....no charge, but we'd need to dot the i's and cross the t's. Rich

I guess a tour of your website is in order
However, it is nice that the Publisher takes time out to answer questions.

Actually, the tour wasn't necessary. There's a link to that page at checkout, I think....near the discount code thingy.
But, if you're like me (and you are), web checkouts are more complicated than college calculus and we all rush thru them in order to get to the "Failed Order" page just as quickly as possible. Rich
