Remington 700 Mag Conversion
I know that this subject has been posted several times before, but I am not finding the information that I desire. I have heard of and seek to find a conversion kit for a Remington 700 to a M14/M1A Box Magazine. I am not seeking conversation on the practicality of this application. Thanks for your help in advance.

I never heard of any "kit" for that conversion, but with a good gunsmith and enough money you can probably get the change done. Note that the 700 is a push feed rifle, which means the feed lips are critical to make sure the point of a bullet from the magazine doesn't hit the primer of a round pushed into the chamber but not fired or extracted.
