Is anyone making or has rigged up a good empty rifle magazine dump bag to fit with an LBE harness or chest rig?

Chuck
I use the GI issue fanny pack that goes on a LCE. Has a lid that is adj and it also has a large opening to accomodate your needs. They are pretty cheap from US Cav so you can modify it if you desire. Be Safe Mike |

Chuck,
FM 23-8 (M14) and 23-9 (M16) both say to tie a sandbag to your LBE. Never tried that in 25 years in the Army. I have used an empty claymore bag, but mostly I've just opened the top button on my BDU coat and dropped them down the coat. The pistol belt holds them in place. Jeff |

With Jeff on this one. Preffered method: down the shirt front. Disgard if nessasary.

the claymore bag was preferred in 67-68 as we almost never had our blouses on under the vests....but ditto to Jeff and creww as a better method.
