Why does the date for the General Topics Forum show October, 1998? Time warp, Boys?

Rich, I had entered TFL twice and both times the date was October 24, 1998. Now it is February 22, 1999. Who knows.

It's because when the forums were upgraded, the forums were reset, so that they showed the date of the first post made in them. That reverted to the time of the latest post made as soon as there was a new post in each forum.
