That's really wild. Could you go into some detail about cowboy action and how it is scored, various events in it, etc?

TNbulldog- PM me and I'll give you some info on cowboy action shooting if you'd like. I do both cowboy matches and 3-gun matches and really enjoy both of them. If you like tho old style cowboy guns and are somewhat interested in history, it is a lot of fun.

Other that the shotgun I couldn't hear a gun fire.
TNBulldog Cowboy action is set up to be fun, good size targets, not that far away. With that said how the heck do I miss targets that big that are that close??? It's scored by time, with time added for misses. Guns & clothes from the "cowboy era" Two pistols, a rifle & a shotgun Pistol & rifle between .32 & .45, shotgun 20 up to 10 gauge. It is fun.

There are LOTS of clubs and matches in Texas. Check out www.sassnet.com and find a list of clubs in your area. It is a lot of fun.

Very nice - that is fast. Now where's PBP? Maybe at the next match, they can use PBP's action figures as targets.
