Hi Harley:

I am looking for an original barrel to rebuild my Portugese AR-10. Needs to have a bright bore and include barrel extension. Do not need any other related parts as all mine are fine.

I have checked with the current Armalite as well as Knight and nothing they make will interchange, so it looks like a need an original.

I know in the early 80's, there was an AR 10er publication in the states and a club. But I haven't been able to track anyone down who was involved with this.

I could rebarrel it using a standard barrel blank and refitting the extension, but would really prefer to stick with an original for collector purposes.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

JEG.
