454levergun?

Howdy i am wanting to get a couple of levergun/six gun combos so far i have a 454. Casull six gun. Does anyone make a 454 levergun?

Puma used to make 'em a couple of years ago. Not sure if they still do or not, but I don't think so.

You can still get the Legacy Puma's in .454. The 1892 is the only appropriately sized action strong enough to contain the pressure but even so, I really don't think they should be run over 50-55,000psi. All the other actions tried, the Marlin 1894 and 336, Winchester 94 and 94 Big Bore could not withstand the pressure. The `86 is strong enough but if you're packin' a rifle that big and heavy, it may as well be a .45/70, which leaves the .454 choking on its dust.

I don't know that the Puma comes in .454 any more. Likely find a used one though.

Bud's had a bunch last I checked and the .454's and .480's were not much over $400.
