G19 vs LCP

Despite the title, this thread is really about size and form factor vs specific firearm.

Apart from concealment and caliber, what are the disadvantages of using a G19 sized Compact Pistol compared to LCP sized Pocket Pistol?

Weight?

The only difference I can think of!

The LCP is more difficult to shoot accurately than the G19. And holds half the rounds. Other than that, concealment and caliber are the main differences...

Go for the best of both worlds and get both? Those are my two carry guns.

+1.

The LCP really is a deep concealment gun that can go any place virtually no matter what you are wearing. It can be a bear to shoot though.

Funny you should mention these. Glock 19 is my House gun; LCP is my carry.

That's like comparing apples and hammers. A better comparison would be the G19 and the Ruger LC9. Besides size, the trigger pull and cartridge capacity would probably be the greatest differentiators.

I carry a G19 and a Kel Tec P3AT (very similar to the LCP) as my BUG.

Get both!

My G19 is a great handgun. Small enough to carry and large enough to shoot well. The accuracy is outstanding and it functions flawlessly. Also very easy to work on and maintain.

G19 is my primary... Sometimes I also switch up and carry the G21... or Ruger SP101 357mag....

I had the Walther PPS for a few years and was very happy with it... I sold it a month or two ago to pay for another toy. I am pretty interested in both the M&P Shield and the XD-S currently.
