FAO Browning A-Bolt owners: Leupold base & ring help needed
I was looking at the Leupold base mount and ring height chart on the back of their catalog to determine which style i'll need for my A-Bolt. However, the base mount product numbers are assigned according to which kind of rifle you have -- for example, long action vs short action. I don't know what I have. I just know I have a 1990 Browning A-Bolt Hunter with a 22" barrel. I'm assuming the STD Leupold 2-piece mount (#50036) should work just fine with my rifle? my scope also has a 40mm objective lens so i'm guessing the low rings should also be fine.
