Eclipse gun co dbl bbl info needed
I hope this is the right place to post this, I have a dbl bbl shotgun and am looking for info and value on it. It is stamped eclipse gun co on both side of the stock near the exposed hammers. The barrel is stamped compressed steel belgium, then a name in weird writing that appears to say GIBEIRA and then stamped chocked. Underside of barrel has several tool stamps including ELG inside a circle with a crown on top. Also 12 G inside a diamond and choke 182/183. The serial # is only 4 digits and is 6***. the wood appears to be a darker wood and all metal parts are engraved in an intricate pattern. I have include some photos(sorry for the quality as i am not a pro photographer). It is in what i would consider good shape for its age. It was given to me by my father who received it from his father. I have been told it is demascus twist and from the late 1800's. Any info would be greatly appreciated

I've got an old Eclipse Damascus barrel shotgun very similar to yours...as far as I can tell.
Don't know anything about them either, so I can't help. |
