Elections, folks, have consequences.
Had Al Gore won in 2000, we'd likely have had a majority of liberals on the bench. Today we'd be looking at 5/4 against Heller and 5/4 against McDonald, and the end of free gun ownership as we know it. For all the Bush haters, he saved gun rights by appointing the right Justice. Keep that in mind when you vote. |

I can do the same thing the other way. If Gore had been elected he would have saved the housing market our nation wouldn't be in economic catastrophe. See? It's just that easy to speculate things.
This thread won't fly for long, as it's based very deeply in political speculation and left vs. right.

In case anyone is interested, the old Legal and Political forum has been shut tighter than a drum for... oh... almost two years now. Sort of matches this thread.
