air rifle scope ?

A friend loaned me a Remington Vantage 1200 air rifle. My question is can I mount a standard 22 cal rifle scope on it ? It is a heavy rifle and the recoil is very very mild.

I use a Taco World Class on my sons air rifle. 1,000+ shots and it works just fine.

Do a Google search and you well find that air rifle scopes are made to absorb recoil in both forward and rearward directions. Some center fire scopes can not deal with that.

I found out that the Tasco scope that I have is for 22 cal rifle or air rifle, so I am all set
