modell 311
I have a bit of a puzzle, I have a modell 311 with SUHL stamped on the breech with the name HAENEL in the shape of a arrow also stamped made in GDR. It also has KAL4.5MM stamped on the barrel. Can someone tell me about this air rifle? It has a very strange breech load or cocking system.I have not found out how to load or cock it. I asume that Kal 4.5mm is the pellet size? Keep your powder dry and all your shots in the ten.

haenel suhl modell 311
I bought mine in East Germany before the wall went down. The modell 311 uses a typical .177 pelet. It is loaded from the top by pulling a lever back, drop the 177 in the hole and rotate the lever back to the rear.
