winchester 9410

Cruising the classifieds this A/M saw a Winchester 9410. Price was --- $1,800 "never" fired! Have I gotten so old and so much time has passed me by that a 410 shotgun is really worth Eighteen Hundred smackers? Or is this a "special" version of a Winchester?

A quick check on Gunbroker revealed that the hopefuls are putting their "buy it now" prices in the 1800-2200 range.

There aren't too many lever action 410s and I don't believe this was out there very long in the marketplace. Not a whole lot different from those selling Pythons in that range either...IMO

Yep. The auction sites are amusing. Armslist is showing a 'Rare' M9410 from New York State at $950. A 'Very Rare' one from Indiana at $850.
There's one on Gunbroker sitting at $300 with 2 bids since 1 May.

gun shop

Seems like I saw several of these, used or blemmed, at Grice's Gun
Shop in PA Last week for a good bit less than 4 figures. If somebody really wants one of these oddities, a check at Grice's might yield same at fair price.

Myself, I feel like they're a good candidate for the goofy gun file.
