Marlin 80 Question

I am in the process of fixing up my Granddaddy's older Marlin 80 (bolt action 22 LR) for my Dad for Christmas. It is in great shape overall, but it will not eject spent casings, instead you have to reach in and flip them out with your finger. Can anyone tell me what part(s) I need to correct this problem? I recently bought a fixer upper Marlin 336, and sucessfully repaired it to the point it is my new deer gun (most of the time) so I'm fairly competent when it comes to minor repairs and part replacements.
Thanks in advance for anyhelp!
