I should have bought one when they first came out. I thought the 5.5 inch bull barrels balanced better so I bought that instead. Great score there!

By chance, did yours come with a factory test target? I know that many or perhaps, all did. This one is a very desirable model and you did well. ....

Very nice. Got the 4 inch model myself. Probably my favorite .22lr right now. Even over my MKII Competition Model.

No target included and the box isn't correct. I still got a great deal on it, that and I bought it to shoot although the later things would have been nice just for the bragging rights.

impressive. The wear spots on the frame from using it look non existent. Give that beauty some love @ the range.

Great gun. I have a few myself. I much prefer the MK2 over the 3 and 22/45.

Wow, I've got one just like it and it sure makes me a good shot. Now, if I could just learn to shoot my .40S&W as well.

I have the MkII Competition (slab side), it is one of my favorite pistols. Ruger really did good with these. I almost bout a 10" MkII not too long ago. A buddy wanted it more so it resides in his safe. These are great target pistols...

You mean there are other makers of .22 pistols besides Ruger?
I didn't know that.

The Ruger MKII Government Target pistol is especially well-suited for serious Bullseye competition. Some shooters feel the need to improve the trigger pull but many are happy with the stock set-up. I'm sure you will find it to be superbly accurate and reliable. I recommend shooting CCI s.v. ammunition for the best in reliability and accuracy.
