Looking for a target load for Ranier 124 gr.FP using Titegroup or Universal Clays?
I am currently using Ranier 124 gr. (copper-plated) Flat Point bullets with 700x (4.4-4.5 gr. with an O.A.L. of 1.050") in my 9mm Sig 226. I am getting really fantastic groups. I have a can of Titegroup and another of Universal Clays that I want to use with the same bullet. Can anyone recommend a moderate target load with either of these powders and my Ranier 124 gr FP. bullet?
Thanks, louielouie |

I have had good accuracy with 4.2 grains of titegroup IIRC and 124 grain berry's plated bullets. Max is 4.5 per the hodgdon load data IIRC.
Check the hodgdon site to be sure of the loads. |

I've had good results using 4.0 - 4.2 gr of TG with Rainier 124gr RN. Try 3.0gr and work up from there.
