best gun coating- ie: Duracoat???
I may have asked this before but old minds forget. What is the best coating to spray on your gun to refinish it and protect it??

cerakote is more durable than duracoat

I've sprayed about a dozen guns with Dura Coat and if your metal prep is what it's supposed to be it'll turn out great. It's easy to use and is a very effective coating.

I have used Cerakote (no thank you, runs and sags easily, too much trouble baking between coats when doing multiple colors, too chippable when done)
I have used DuraCoat (it's pretty but too thick, takes a long time to fully cure) and I have used GunKote (the best, IME, very thin and tough once it's baked on). Any one of them will work, but some work better than others.
