The 'what are you reloading today?' thread
Though this would be a fun idea. Everyone can just post up what they've been reloading. Maybe someone is loading the same oddball caliber you are!
I'll start it off. I'm just cleaning and sorting .40 brass. Boring...

As soon as I get home, I will finish seating 240g SWC bullets on top of 7.5g of Universal in 100 .44Spec cases that I started at lunch.

Just got my first dies, so as soon as I get home I'll be reloading my very first ammo ever. Will be 9mm 115gr FMJ over Unique. Going to be making my work up then going to the range tonight to see how they do. Getting stoked. Come on 1700 hours!

Just finished loading 100 rounds of .223 on my Hornady LnL press. Using the Hornady 55 grain FMJBT that I got free for buying the press with Alliant's new AR-Comp powder for AR rifles. This is my second batch using this powder. The groups I got with the first batch were impressive...all within the size of a Quarter @ 100 yards.

I'm preparing ammo to ladder test for my .308/5R. For one batch I will be using RE-15 powder and for the other Varget. I shot a 3.633 group (4 shot) at 400 yards with the Varget/175 Smk and I gonna tighten it up a bit. That was my first time shooting at that distance with the .308.

If I'm not lazy, I'll prep another 150 or so pieces of 30-06. Been slowly working through a bucket containing several years worth of Lake City.

I was prepping some 32-20 Win brass fired in my Ruger Blackhawk. I will be loading them with 115 grain hardcast lead. Since load data is limited due to use in older weaker revolvers, I use QuickLoad to develop my loads with.

Loaded some 357s today. NOE 360-160 Custom Ray Thompson SWC clone with a plain base and slightly expanded lube groove over 6.2 grains of 231. Normally shoot this boolit with 15.5 grains 296 but wanna give 231 a shot.

Staring at the 1800+ 40S&W cases that need to be tumbled (100 pieces at a time) then sorted, sized, expanded, sacked and stored. At least the 600+ 9mm cases have been tumbled.

Just finished 30 44 Mags, 180 gr WC with 9 gr of 231. Before that was more 245 gr Keith boolits with 19.0 gr of 2400. I have about 300 rounds of 45 Colt loaded with 5 different powders and 2 boolits. Waiting on the mountains to thaw so I can go to my free private range.
I recently loaded up almost 100 454 Casull too. Working up loads. It's going to be a big bore summer. |

I loaded 200 rds of .38 spl / and about 300 rds of .357 mag ....( everything with a 158gr FMJ bullet this morning....on my Dillon 650 .../ and I'm taking 5 S&W revolvers to the range this afternoon - for some entertainment:
K frames...( using 1 holster..for all K frames)... a model 18 - 4" in .22 ( my warmup gun - working on my draw )... a model 66-1 2 1/2" in .357 mag ( I'll shoot mostly .38's thru it ) a model 66-1 4" in .357 mag N frames ( change holsters..) a model 27-2 Nickel 4" ...357 mag ( my primary gun in .357 mag...) a model 629-5 3", .44 mag - its an RSR gun that's ported... ( to make noise) I have my speed loaders as well....and I'll work on some reloads ...and I'm slower than watching paint dry on my reloads.../...but who cares..! |

Just sorting range brass. The indoor range lets me sweep up whatever i want so they don't have to. I've got quite the assortment of calibers. I guess I'll just have to keep buying guns so I can use them up!
