I really like the black finish and the gold accents, which surprises me. For me, the visual appeal of the Glock lies in its "function over form" design, so most attempts at cosmetic improvements on Glocks leave me cold.
I don't like the machine-turned surfaces on the barrel, though - they look a little too much like a 1970s Firebird instrument panel to me. |

I don't get it.
It's just an ordinary Glock, with some aftermarket decorations. It has a presumably less durable blued finish, some engine turning/jeweling on the barrel, and a tacky gold logo. It's like an ordinary Honda Civic with bling dubs and cheesy "Type R" badges. Jeweling, tacky gold logos, and high polish bluing are everything the Glock is not. It might as well come with a red velvet slip on grip. I just really don't get it. |

Looks like a melted finish? What is the finish on the slide?

My second generation G19s are great tools. You can't make a Glock purty, a BHP, yes, a Glock, no.

That looks mighty nice. Glock is indeed a funtion over form handgun but it can look right with a suit... moreso with that finish

I sure hope that you love it. It doesn't look cheap.
Personally, since you asked, doing something like this to a Glock is kind of pointless to me. It's kind of like the people who tried to put a suit on Tarzan and teach him to do the Macarena. It just doesn't make sense. Glock's are workhorses, and granted some modifications do make sense for durability and maybe a little bling... ... but some of the things people do to Glock's just dumbfound me. Mine's a workhorse, as it was intended in the design. The thing is rock hard and tooth and nail reliable in any environment. That's how I use it. For some perspective on another thing that baffles me... this is an example of what a jeep is NOT supposed to look like. And an example of a jeep that's happy with it's lot in life. Just my $.02 ~LT

The Dark Side is alluring...
A lot of people buy a gun on looks first, price second, quality last. This glock has the quality first, looks, then price. You can't go wrong.
This Glock makes me want to pick it up. It's just getting better. I don't own one. Yet. |

I choose to spend money on my Glocks that enhances their performance. My latest custom extends the sight radius, lowered the ejection port, and gives me some higher velocities.

Well I have to go the other way on this one. I think it looks pretty cool. I have several Glocks and they're all stock except for some trigger modification but none of them look this good. Only thing I would like to see is the Glock logo in silver instead of gold in order to match the barrel.

I'm no Glock fan, and maybe that's why I like it; it's so . . . un-Glock.
