Thought of another one. Win 70 Supergrade .35 Whelen. Not huge magnum fan, and not going on dangerous game/safari suggesting .375 or above, so to me this is about as good as it gets for anything I might pursue...and the Supergrade part "just because"...while we're dreaming

My choices would be:

1. Sako A7 in .270
2. M1 Garand
3. Custom Rem 700 with 20" no. 3 contour barrel, detachable box mag, Bell & Carlson stock with aluminum bedding, Timney trigger in 7MM-08

I could go for a custom Pennsylvania long rifle (flintlock) in 62 caliber smoothbore.
