82 Colt Python
Was wondering what a 1982 Python 6" I believe it is nickel (shiny) is worth ? It has not been shot many times and not for at least 15 years. Have always kept it cleaned. No box but have tool. Has original grips that are in excellent condition too.

The going price for just about any Python is $800 to $1000.

Thanks for the info. Just found your site yesterday. It's great . I've always enjoyed this colt. It's a fine handgun.

Well, some days you just get lucky I guess. Went off to the gun shop for a jug of powder and noticed a nice, used 4" Blue Python in the case for $495. Needless to say it now lives in my safe. A sweet shooter too.

John,
Picture please. I want to see what a $500 Python looks like. Right place/right time & $500 to spare. Lucky man. Tuckerdog1

OK, I'm in Singapore the rest of the week but will take a picture and post it when I get back since I don't have one on the laptop.
Incidentally, right before I left on this trip I was over at the same gunshop and they had a used 4" Anaconda for $629. I was sorely tempted but if I'd bought it and my wife figured out that I now had three .44mags, she'd have probably used it to neuter me.
