Please Help -- need front sight for Browning Buckmark Hunter
I purchased a Browning Buckmark Hunter and added a Williams Fire sight to the rear.
Neither the factory front sight or the Williams sight that came with the rear is high enough. I have phone Williams about it -- no help. I have phone Marble (who makes the sight for Browning) -- no help. I need a sight compatible with the Buckmark and from barrel to Fiber Optic Bead, I'm looking for .5625". I contacted Dawson Precision, who make custom sights, but they have a 4-6 week backlog. So, are there any generic sights that will work, or anything for a different pistol? Can I use a Williams shorty sight base? The barrel is .75" diameter (factory) -- my caliper says .78". It is mounted with a screw about .75" from the front of the sight. Thanks. |
