Rusa deer Facts & Photos

These amazing deer originate from the Indonesian Islands of the Java Sea. Yet they have been imported to many Exotic Game Ranches. Weight wise they compare to western mule deer.

New Calodonia is reported to have some of the best trophy hunting for rusa deer. This island is located northeast of Australia and administrated by the French. But a peaceful plan for independance was approved many years ago. New Calodonia could be a second honeymoon/hunting trip for those interested in tropical places.
