378 Weatherby Cases
I came across some 378 Weatherby Magnum cases for reloading.I found several in the lot of 100 that had been necked down and trimmed.I found one loaded this way it has .263 diameter bullet that is 1.245 long the COL is 3.120The magnum case measures 2.910 untouched but the short ones measure 2.250.I was wondering what the original owner was wildcatting here?
Just curious Thanks roc1 |

There has been a 6.5 / 378 around for a while. Pretty much only limlted to your imagination as to what has been wildcatted. COL may be stretched by the forming or shooting and not trimmed back.
