Jennings in 6.35

I saw one of these not so little guns (for a 6.35) the other day for U$D 75.

I wonder if they're any good. It had a stainless
look and a safety, that's about it. The slide would not lock open, is it normal?

Any comments or info will be welcomed. I could not find any references to it in an old book i have so i'm totally in the dark.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKKKK! Run, don't walk far away!

They are NOT stainless, they're pot metal and pure junk! I was given one years ago, and last year I finally cut it up into a number of pieces and discarded it. I couldn't bear the thought of someone else being stuck with it, even for free! :barf:

My wife has had a J22 for several years. Of course she got it before she knew me or I would have talked her into something better. It appears to be in decent shape. I've cleaned and lubed it but frankly I'm afraid to fire the thing.

Firing it isn't the problem, it's clearing the jams that happen so often!
