Looks like an 870 - excellent choice, Sir/M'am!, but no matter ...

Can you still top off the tube w/a mag in place?

What's the point of an extension tube if you have a mag?

I do have other questions .... like the "poor form" for pumping while holding a mag .... aesthetic? maybe, but not very pratical,

& does that mag get in the way of pumping?

BTW, I do like ROL

Ahhh ... may be you can top off the tube while still having the mag = "extras" in-place ... ? Which is the "dominate feed device?" Would be best if the tube was, for topping off, & I guess it wouldn't matter as long as "it" did feed from whatever source, huh?

Is this really a "real gun"

Looks to be a "made up" deal. W/o very special stuff, I've never heard of an 870 taking a mag .... no matter = if "looks could kill"

On second thought (brain fade), the mag couldn't get in the way of pumping - left arm's ergos just doesn't work that way .... for my body.

In any event, you just sent shivers down another whole group of antis - works for me.

What I'd like to see is a double-barrel - side-by-side - with an eight round magazine tube under each barrel, for sixteen total shots (plus two more in the chambers.) Trigger can be set to fire one barrel, then the other, or fire both barrels simultaneously. I don't envy the person who'd have to take the recoil of two 3" magnum slugs firing together, and I especially don't envy the person looking down the barrels of such a gun...

I want one.

Nice attempt at trick photography... To bad you can tell that she is actually holding the mag behind the receiver.... Nice little NFA shotgun, unless you doctored the barrel also!

Somewhere back in the 1980s, Bill Satterwhite showed up at the Soldier of Fortune gathering in Las Vegas. They did their "Rolling Thunder" playtime, and he used a doubled 1100 with extension mags and a single-trigger setup. Sixteen rounds of 00 in about three seconds!

Reality CAN be as much fun as fiction!

In all seriousness a tube magazine is a rather silly. So what you can top off your tube while the mag is in place. If I had a detachable mag I could put 5 rounds in the shotgun faster than you could load 2 in your mag.

GSG-9 uses those things. Six or eight shell removable magazine, threaded barrell can accept a silencer or other accessories, folding stock...so many evil assault features for the anti-gunners to freak out over. Hee hee.

And they're LEGAL in the UK...yes, you can't get a handgun, but you can get a SPAS-15 as long as it doesn't have the folding stock.

A dual-fed scattergun is still available, or at least it's carried on the "Baikal" web site.
I can see a use for this, say, a LEO has CS shells in one mag, slugs and/or buck in the other.

Regarding the duel-fed pump shotgun: I just e-mailed IMZ in
Russia and Eaacorp (it's representative in the U.S.) about the
availability of the MP131K. No return info yet.

Out of curiosity, let's assume I'm interested in acquiring the 131K
found none available in the U.S. but for sale in Russia. Does
anyone have a clue about the nature of red tape I would encounter
from Customs, BATF, etc. in order for an overseas company/individual
to ship the shotgun directly to an FFL in Calif.?

As I mentioned, just curious, but thanks for any advice.

You can put buckshot in 1 and slugs or breaching rounds in the other.

Dang it, OBIWAN beat me to the South African Neostead! If you go to the website for the Neostead shotgun, you wont find a huge amount of information but there are some nice photos of this beast. It seems like a very straightforward, robust design. I hope one of the gun rags does some testing on it soon.
