Not Happy with Treatment by Tennessee Guns

This is just my experience, but if it's any indication of how Tennessee Guns normally treats customers, then BUYER BEWARE.

I placed an order via phone for some parts (a trigger assembly) and was quoted $5 for shipping. Seemed fair enough.

After waiting for over two weeks, I called back. No evidence of my order existed. It had been lost. I placed another order.

Got the order almost three weeks after placing the first order. Shipping had mysteriously gone up to $10.

I wrote TN Guns a letter and complained about the lost order and the shipping difference.

Got a call from a TN Guns clerk who promised to refund the difference in shipping. Only $5, but that would have made me a more satisfied customer.

Never got the money. Finally, I posted my dissatisfactions on TFL when someone asked about this business, and I sent TN Guns the thread. Got an email from TN Guns telling me to "Get over it."

Posted my story again, when the subject of TN Guns came up, and sent them the thread. Finally got another email indicating that they'd refund the difference in shipping. I never got the money.

Again, this is just my experience, and it really is more about the principles of good business than the lousy $5. I have all the emails and dates, and I reported Tennessee Guns to the Better Business Bureau.

I don't like the fact that TN Guns:

- Lied to me about shipping charges.
- Lost my order.
- Lied to me about refunding the shipping difference.
- Sent a customer (me) an email stating, "Get over it."
- Wasted a lot of my time.

So again, buyer beware if you're dealing with this outfit. They don't seem to have their priorities in order.

I'll send them this thread too. Maybe I'll get another nasty email.

Bwahahahahahahaha

I'm soooooo glad I didn't make that $500 order from them a couple months back.

I wouldn't "get over it" too easily.

Thanks, Guyon....

I'll keep this in mind. I've done a little business with them in the past, but stuff like this makes me nervous. There's too many good retailers around to mess around with folks like this.

There are enough good dealers in East TN that you don't have to put up with crap like that.
