Where to find replacement wooden buttstock for WASR 10?
Have a Romanian wasr10 and need a stock wooden replacement buttstock. Everywhere I've searched was aftermarket folding stocks and what not. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thank you.

i think the only luck you are going to have is if you find someone that replaced their wood furniture with an aftermarket stock. check evilbay maybe?

Walnut
I would keep an eye out for a nice walnut stock to surface. I know Century Arms made some for their 50th anniversary Wasr-10s and I got to see one up close. It was purdy.

You could buy a new replica stock from ironwood Designs.
He makes exact replicas for AK rifles that are as good or better then the oil soaked originals. These are top quality, made from Russian or Finnish laminated wood, and pretty much drop in. You finish these yourself, or he now offers a "Russian Red" finish. http://www.ironwooddesigns.com/IWDHome.html Here's some original WASR Romanian stocks: http://aa-ok.com/ak-ak47-akm-ak74-pa...cks-fixed.html http://www.akparts.com/index.htm https://www.apexgunparts.com/index.php/cPath/21_89 http://www.sksman.com/acces/AK47%20stocks%202.php |

Balkan Set
I recommend getting a few Balkans sets. You get 3 complete sets for $35 so you can probably sell the 2 sets you don't want for more than that. Plus, they're battlefield relics which is kind of cool....
