In 2008 I had two transfers take somewhere around two and a half months.

If you are sending one in right now, expect it to be about nine months.

Last summer I had to wait six months to get four SBS shotguns approved... for a police department. NFA said they received only 2 of the 4 apps, which made no sense because we faxed them all at once with a cover sheet saying how many pages, etc. Then followed by mail. I think it just a paperwork glitch, everybody we dealt with was real nice and anxious to get it resolved.

Good thing its a form 1 so I have the gun in pistol configuration, so I can still take it to the range. Guess that's perfect medication for anxiously waiting.

Sent my paperwork off a week ago for a YHM 7.62 phantom. My local dealer had it on the shelf so that saves some time. He took me out with it after I got some subs & let me shoot it which was SO COOL!

Basically turned my rifle into a pellet gun in the noise department.

I've been playing a lot of Call of Duty on Xbox, closest thing to getting my fix for shooting a silencer I've found, lol.

I just got a form back for a suppressor. I got it back earlier than most of the dealers so he says.

It was 11 months and 3 days from the date it was submitted.
