If it's a 20ga, you can't beat old "Blue Dot".

I used 700-X mostly but Red Dot should work as well. Always consult good, current reloading books and cross-reference between several sources if possible.

If you are just starting out I would recommend using WST, Winchster Wads, and Winchester primers. The reason I sugest this is that you can download the Winchester Load info and get comfortable with reloading good ammunition. Then swap components using Lyman's book and develop your pet load. By the way, for targets I use Clays Powder.

Red Dot, 700 X, Clays etc.They all work fine. I use Promo because it is considerably cheaper than anything else out there and it goes bang every time. I probably shoot in excess of 10,000 shells a year and this amounts to quite a savings, especially since primers and shot keep escalating in price

Reloading

Thanks, Now all I have to do is find someone around here that sells reloading supplies. Most of the gun shops blew away during katerina. I found on line where I can order everything but the powder and thats probably a no no through the US mail

Delivered via UPS ground. There is a $20 dollar hazmat fee for any powder up to 48 lbs, IIRC. Unless you are buying quantities, the hazmat fee will kill you.

I get my powder from http://www.midwayusa.com

My last order was for an 8 lb canister of Titgroup (104.99), Varget (125.99) and H4831sc (125.99). Add in the $20 hazmat and $9.99 shipping this still made my purchases cheaper than getting it anywhere else. By the pound, it worked out to:

Titegroup = $14.38
Varget = $16.99
H4831sc = $16.99

Next order, I will double the Varget and H4831sc. Savings will be a little more.

You might want to try out:

They have been the cheapest I have found on the net.
