Would like bolt handle installed
Prefer someone close to me but would ship. I have a Ruger 30.06 bolt action and would like a longer handle on bolt so my hand doesn't wack the scope, any suggestions? Thanks!

John, I myself wouldn't put a longer handle but something to think about is a larger bolt knob. I put a threaded type on mine and it keeps the rigidity of the orginal bolt assy and with the larger knob you can use your palm instead of your fingers depending on the smoothness of your action. I would do that the cost of getting a threaded knob is 130.00 plus shipping.
I am going to give you a link for a rather inexpensive knob adaptor and you may need to dremel it to fit your ruger http://www.kineticresearchgroup.com/...s/boltlift.php but this is a low cost to try something before its IRREVERSIBLE AND COSTLY.... you can spend lots of hundreds for a up grade that you hate... hope this helps....
