Scope Qestion for all you shooters

Im new to centerfire and want to know if my scope is 1/4 inch per click at a hundred is it 1/8th at 50 and 1/2 inch at 200 and 3/4 at 300???
and if i move 1 click at 100yds will it move poi a 1/4 down at 100 and 1/2 down at 200 and 3/4 at 300? with scope 1.5 above center of barrel? If that matters.

The math is right, but it requires that the scope is exactly vertical on the reciever and that you have it vertical when you fire the shot. In real life even if you have it pretty spot on in regard to the rifle you will tilt it a little when firing, the end result is an up and across movement or down and across the opposite way, so you wont get exactly 1/4" or whatever. The reticle movement for 1 moa on most scopes is .001" so you can see how a thou or two tilt can affect your point of impact.
In fact I think it shows just how good we humans can be when we manage to shoot and get a good group time after time!
