Kids Can Be Dumb...But Seriously?

So a kid in MA who fancies himself a rapper made song with poorly chosen lyrics with worse timing. According the the article and a few others on the subject, the kid is not facing felony charges for communicating terrorist threats.

Was the kid dumb? Yes... Based on the evidence available was he anything more than a dumb kid? IMO nope. The vague nature of a lot of the post 9/11 laws in this kind of context are pretty, for lack of a better word, terrifying. Hopefully good sense and the first amendment prevail in this case and a kid doesn't have his life ruined over a song.
