Missouri Bullet Co. How are they?

Thinking about placing an order for their 9mm, 40cal and 45acp bullets. Has anybody used their bullets before. Im a little concerned about the 18brn hardness.

I have found their products to be consistent in weight, fully formed, not frosted, well lubed.

So far I have used only .401 and .452, several

I will order again and refer my friends to them for their needs.

The people are very nice to deal with.

Absolutely terrible! Awful! You don't need to order from them until the panic is over!

(Just trying to scare 'em off for a while to help decrease the delivery time on my current orders of MO Bullets. I like 'em, I love 'em, I want some more of 'em! Planning on testing some new for me 9mm Smallball tomorrow with W-231, Unique and Power Pistol powders. Different bullet profile has me intregued.)

I have used their .45 Colt 255 grain Keith bullets. I loaded them to around 900 fps with no leading and they were plenty accurate. Their prices were great and I received the bullets in about 3 days. I recently ordered from Rimrock bullets with good results, but the price of the bullets I ordered from them has shot way up, while Missouri has not.

As a side note, I did get some leading with 9mm 115 grain bullets, but I strongly suspect it's from the loadings I'm using. My XDm seems to group better when the velocity is higher.

They are a fine company. The 18 BHN is hard but many companies offering machine cast bullets are much the same. Most use 92-6-2 alloy because it is the perfect casting alloy. You 'bout have to try if you want to make a bad casting from the stuff. I've probably used close to 10 tons of the stuff over the years. Air cooled this alloy will test 15-16 or when water dropped, 18-21. Hope this helps.

They also offer a line of Cowboy bullets at 12 BHN. I ordered 1,000 in .44 about a month ago and they just arrived. Planning to use these for my light practice loads.

So you can choose either the 18 BHN or 12 BHN depending on the pressures you will load to.

They were excellent to deal with. Web site estimated shipping delay was accurate, they sent shipping notification, bullets are clean and look great.

I am giving them a try on some 9mm. The website says 3-4 weeks which is fine. Flat Rate USPS shipping cost was the right price, so they are not gouging on that.

The way this lousy winter is dragging out here it will probably just be warming up enough for serious shooting in 3 weeks.

Great folks to deal with fast service. 18BRN is of no issue. I use Titegroup in all my loads, 38 spl, 357 mag, 9mm, 40 S&W, 45 ACP and now 380 all are lead loads except for the 380. Leading is a NON-ISSUE

Great people, great products. So long as your bullets are .001" larger than groove dia. you shouldn't have any leading issues in 9mm or .40 S&W. And if you're going to keep your loads on the slow side, you can use the 12 Brinell bullets for .45 ACP. Haven't tried them yet, but I've had 0 issues with the 18 Brinell 200 gr. SWCs I buy from them and some of the loads are pretty light.

They also offer some bullets at a 10bhn, like the DEWC for 38 special(called the PPC). They will also cast different bullets in harder or softer alloy for you and do custom sizing. In the middle of all this crap a guy on THR had them size him some 9mm at .358" and they did at no extra charge in the normal time frame.

Brad and Joann are good people for sure.

I've ordered from them a few times and the last shipment arrived TWO DAYS after I ordered! And that was only a few weeks ago!

They are top-notch.

I'll have to let you know, I just received 1500 of them and will start shooting them today.

From loading them, I didn't change a single setting on my LNL-AP and they loaded just like plated or jacketed. I may add a little flare to the cases as I noticed some of my shorted cases didn't want to hold the bullets,

Mine are 9mm and the extra .002 in diameter has something to do with that I have no doubt.

So far they seem quite excellent to me.

I just cleaned both pistols and will check for leading when I get home.

Im loading their .44 Mag SWC in full magnum loads. Leading is not an issue, and long range accurracy is great considering I can keep a group on a paper plate a 100 yards out of a 7.5" Redhawk with iron sights. A great hunting bullet for tough to penetrate critters.

I dont believe in gas checks.

I have used there products. I just got another box of 500 45acp 230gr softball. Also 165gr TLC 44 cal for my Blackhawk. Great stuff. I wish I bought 2 boxes. Get it if you can find it.
