Fricking Ruger Red Label!!!!
Ok,
I have a Ruger Red Label, stainless 30 inch barrels and action with all-weather stock. The problem: The safety kicks on between shots when using 3 inch steel high velocity loads. It functions fine with 2 3/4 shells for Upland birds. I bought the gun for ducks and geese. I would dump it but it just one of those guns that fits me perfectly and hits everything I point it at. Any suggestions on how to fix it? Thanks Rich |

Betcha anything it's the inertia that causes it to move back. Will it do the same with other shot?
Sorry but that's one gun that I don't even fathom. Ruger has only 2 or 3 people assemble those guns. It may be best to send it back.

I think I know what is wrong, but that is too nice a gun to give advice about on here. I agree with Gary on sending it to Ruger.
Call them, tell them what is wrong and it is likely they will send you a shipping label so they pay shipping both ways. Jim |
