Ballistol for smokeless
I use Ballistol for all my blackpowder guns. I like the smell, and I like that it's non-toxic, plus it works great. I saw on some comparison testing that it seems to prevent rust better than most other oils. So I was wondering how many of you use it on your modern smokeless guns too? Should I use Ballistol for everything?

Will have to admit that I do not use it on any breech loaders. Just haven't gotten around to using it as I have other products. I do use it on M/L's coming out of the field or range.

I use Ballistol on my revolvers, and my 1911. Works fine for me. I like not worrying about the wood grips. I like that it is non toxic also.
The other product I use is CLP for those items that don't have wood furniture. |

Thanks for your answers. I think I'll start using Ballistol for smokeless too.

The more I use it the more I like it. It works on eveything and makes everything better, metal, plastic, wood, leather, house plants................
If it is good enough for Hickok45 then it good enough for me http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZf4mUM10Vc&feature=fvw |
