need 400 corbon reamer
Dear Shooters:
I'm building a 400 corbon in a 1911 package, but I cannot find a reamer! I have a Kart 40 S&W new bbl (non ramped) and I've been all over the internet and NOBODY seems to SELL a reamer!. Can any of you help? Lost my buddy Brownie after 11 years. Put him to sleep holding his head in my arms and telling him I'll never forget him or quit loving him - His ashes are above my desk - Brownie was real sick and died with love and dignity! I really need to buy a 400 corbon reamer - my buddy sent me 200 starline cases and all I need is the reamer! Buy the way, what spring should I use in a 1911? 18 1/2# ??? I should have come here firt! Harry, sorry for your loss, I offer you my sincerest condolences.
Instead of buying the reamer you may want to consider renting one. Try these people out. 4D PRODUCTS 4010A So. Poplar St., PMB 72 Casper, WY 82601 Voice/Fax 307-232-8158 www.4-dproducts.com Best to you, Bill Z.

Reamer
BILL Z:
Thanks Bill for the heads up on the reamer and Brownie - he's resting comfortably in a big old jug above my desk - he said he didn't like the box! Harry B. |

Harry, nothing on the reamer, but wanted to offer my sincere sympathies on your loss of Brownie. While we get so attached to our furry buddies, it is so unfair that there life span is so short and we have to go through it more than once in our lives, as we develop such a loving friendship with them. I can truly understand your loss and my thoughts go out to you.

reamer
WILDALASKA:
My doctor friend I've been training in gunsmithing for five years, every thanksgiving now, just e-mailed me that he's sending one up for Christmas present!!!. (a 400 corbon reamer) Michael is doing research into alzhiemers at Mayo in Jacksonville Fla. I dare not mention anything unless I get it in the mail! Good guy! I've got several 1911s' and want to have a 400 corbon; not very popular for sometime but is making a strong comeback especially with law enforcement and special forces. There is work going on with a special project that I can't talk about (I'm not doing it, just some special machining the guy needs, not the receiver.) You'all will see it, maybe, in a year or two.
